
Les Hauts de Croix de Labrie are from young vines from several plots in Saint-Émilion terroirs. With 85% Merlot imparts rowdiness, elegance, plum, while the 15% Cabernet Franc brings white spices, cassis and a superb freshness. Aged in French oak barrel during an average of 14 months with 50% new oak barrel and 50% of one year old. It has red fruit and spicy aromas, and subtle, elegant tannins that are ripe and tasty. It can be kept for 10 years or more, but is very expressive when young.
