M. Chapoutier

M. Chapoutier, a French winery, began in 1808 as 'Calvet et Compagnie' in Tain. In 1897, it was renamed 'Delépine et Chapoutier' and began exporting wines to Holland, Switzerland, and Germany. After Rodolphe Delépine retired, the company was renamed 'Chapoutier et Compagnie'. In 1929, Marius created a new winery, and his son Marc took over in 1929. Michel Chapoutier became head and applied biodynamic cultivation, leading to global wine estate acquisitions.
