An oaky aroma dukes it out with achingly fresh red cherries and dill sprigs on the nose of this wine. Tannins are smooth and velvety. It's only in the wine's staying power that they take on a slightly more grippy quality. Green coffee, black pepper and dill add up to a wine that's uncharacteristically savory but utterly lovely and epicurean.
