Valdivieso

In 1879, Don Alberto Valdivieso founded champagne Valdivieso, the first sparkling wine house in Chile and South America. Ever since Valdivieso has been one of the most respected and prestigious brands in the Chilean beverage industry. About 20 years ago, after almost a century of excellent reputation and experience in winemaking, the commercial production of still wines was definitely brought forward.

The vineyards are located at the foot of the Cordillera de los Andes, around the Curicó region -- an area where there are  cool evenings and mornings that greatly contribute to the slow ripening of the fruit. This allows for a rich natural acidity and most favorable aroma.
