Subtle and elegant, this Second wine from Château Croizet Bages, 5ème Grand Cru Classé from Pauillac, is mainly from young vines that will later be used to vinify the Grand Vin. With its finesse, it possesses the same precision as its elder brother. With its dark garnet color, Alias has a dazzling, gourmand nose with scents of black cherry and cedar. On the palate, the attack is frank and the tannic structure measured. The delicately woody finish with a slight tension suggests superb ageing potential.
