The complex nose combines ripe fruit with spices, vanilla and a hint of liquorice. With aeration, notes of undergrowth and tobacco appear, revealing all the subtlety of this wine. The palate is full-bodied, fleshy, sweet and generous. We start by perceiving tannins with a fine texture, which then evolve towards silky and coated, and which give length and power without ever being in excess. On the palate, we find the aromatic complexity of the nose with some notes of fruit brandy.
